In this class we will explore an alternative to the traditional causally-driven plot. We will look closely at examples of novels organized by juxtaposition, both thematic and symbolic. This structure abides by the law of similarity and is a perfect design for a novel with multiple points of view. We will look closely at many examples, and I'll suggest a process for you to begin thinking about this story structure for your novel or short story.
